If you want to learn to paddle but don't know where to begin...this is the group for you! Start your paddling journey in a safe environment with knowledgeable coaches. Our brand new Paddling Foundations sessions have been designed to introduce you to paddling and get you up to speed on the basics in a quick, efficient time format. These sessions will accelerate your learning, compared with 'going it alone', to a point where you can join one of our other groups with confidence, or head out with your friends. We will introduce you to user-friendly craft and associated gear, the technique & skills involved with paddling, and how to get back into your boat when the inevitable happens and you come out!
Paddling Foundations is most suitable for complete beginners and paddlers transitioning to a novice level, with all gear supplied (stable craft, PFD, paddle & leg leash) if you don't have access to your own. Participants can enter and leave the program at any time, and you can attend a single session or multiple sessions.
Paddling Foundations sessions run during Spring, Summer and Autumn in blocks. We plan and communicate each block of training in advance, and post weekly schedules and venues during each block. Please contact us or check our group session Facebook page for up-to-date information prior to purchasing.

Spring 2020 - November 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th
Summer 2020 - December 6th, 13th & 20th
Summer 2021 - January 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st; February 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th
Autumn 2021 - March 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th; April 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th
When: Sunday afternoons at 2.00pm (sessions go for 1 hour)
