Next Step is a new training group sitting between Paddle Progress and Moving Targets.
We are seeing more & more paddlers at the front of our Paddle Progress group needing more support to take the next step.
The aim of the Next Step program is to assemble a similar-speed group of paddlers who will undertake the same type of training, in the same conditions, as our Moving Targets group. It will be a stepping stone group between Paddle Progress and a higher level.
Next Step training paddles are a great way to regularly build on your paddling experience and technique. We are a friendly group of intermediate and advanced paddlers that meet up and keep each other motivated to train.
Our Next Step programs runs year-round in blocks. We plan and communicate each block of training in advance, and post weekly schedules and venues during each block. Please contact us or check our group session Facebook page for up-to-date information prior to purchasing.
When & where:
Wednesday evenings 6.00pm during late spring, summer & early autumn (southern end of Kingston Beach, near the yacht club)
Friday mornings 6.00am all year round (southern end of Long Beach, Sandy Bay)
The second round for 2022 runs on Friday only, from 29th April to Friday 1st July.
